HIMS Dehradun Admission Process
Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences offers various programmes related to medical science. HIMS Dehradun admission to the MBBS course will be done based on students performance in NEET. The detailed admission procedure is mentioned below:
Fellowship Programmes
- Candidates have to apply on the website of Swami Rama Himalayan University.
- Eligible candidates have to appear for an interview.
- Final admission will be offered on the basis of performance in the interview, attendance in conference/workshops, publication of original research articles, work experience & recommendations from their institutes.
HIMS Dehradun MBBS Admission 2024
- Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET UG exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Candidates with required NEET percentile will have to register for AIQ NEET counselling.
- Further candidates have to participate in the counselling process conducted by The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
- Final admission will be based on the marks secured, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
M.Ch
- Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET Super-Specialty (NEET SS) conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE).
- Candidates have to qualify for the exam.
- Eligible candidates have to apply online on the website of Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
- Further, candidates have to participate in the h National Level counselling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
- Final admission will be based on merit, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
MD/MS
- Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET PG exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE).
- Candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying percentile and register for the counselling process.
- Further, candidates have to participate in the counselling process conducted by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
- Final admission will be based on the marks secured, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
M.Sc
- Candidates have to apply on the website of Swami Rama Himalayan University.
- Eligible candidates have to appear for the entrance examination conducted by the university.
- Further, candidates will be called for a personal interview.
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of personal interview and/or marks secured in the entrance exam.
- Shortlisted candidates will be offered admission after document verification and fee payment.
Diploma
- Eligible candidates have to apply on the website of Swami Rama Himalayan University.
- Admission will be based on the merit of the qualifying exam.
- Based on the merit of the qualifying exam, candidates will be shortlisted.
- Shortlisted candidates will be offered admission on the basis of merit, university level document verification and fee payment.
NEET Result 2024
NTA has announced the NEET 2024 results in an online mode. Students who want to check their results should visit the official website of NTA.

Have groceries, Gym libraries, sports Centre Cafe and many more location of Campus prime one can handle all types of emergencies students can engage in any sports activities like basketball, football, badminton cricket, etc

One of the finest universities in Dehradun Uttarakhand. Great staff and great teachers. All teachers are well qualified doctors. All the examinations are conducted in a fair manner and in timely basis
College Infra
Very nice infrastructure. Classes are well ventilated and painted. Comfortable seating in all classrooms. Greenery throughout the campus area. Good hostel facility. Good maintainence of roads and good everything else
Placements
The college
Offers an internship course after the completion of the MBBS course. The internship take place within the hospital of our university. our college also offers a non-academic JR course in which you do not have to clear the NEET PG entrance exam, but are eligible for a job in teaching or

Academics
I am enrolled in an MBBS program and the quality of teaching is great. The faculty are mostly very nice and supportive. The curriculum is up to date with all the newest advancements in medicine for sure.
College Infra
All the necessary instruments are available in labs. There is no WiFi on campus and the campus is decently well maintained. The food provided is pretty good and the hostel isn't that great. The library is excellent.
Campus Life
The campus looks good and is well connected. The staff are quite indifferent and won't really step in to help out. There are some nice teachers. There are not sufficient measures to handle emergency situations.
Placements
Medicine students don't have a placement program as such. I am planning to specialize in neuro medicine and I think my course curriculum is excellent to get me prepared for the entrance exams coming after this course.
Value For Money
The fees is about 18 lakhs per year roughly and I think it is decent for the facilities and teaching quality. I love the coursework and they give us a lot of clinical exposure and we handle a lot of different cases while learning.
