    There is no type of M.Ed. Special Education degree. One can pursue it after completion of B.Ed (Bachelor’s of education).

    • Candidates should have done their graduation under the 10+2+3 pattern

    • A postgraduate degree plus B.Ed degree in the respective disability sector

    • Candidates should secure at least 50% marks in B.Ed and complete a one year diploma from a recognized institution.

    • Candidates should have passed the varied entrance test held by the respective institution for studying the M.Ed special education.

    To get admission in M.ed. special education postgraduate courses, students need to appear for a certain entrance test followed by a merit list. The student must have completed their graduation (10+2+3 pattern). Those candidates who have finished their post-graduation accompanied with B.Ed. in special education also completed their diploma of 1 year with at least 50 percent in B.Ed. can unquestionably appear for M.Ed. special education.

    IGNOU M.Ed Special Education Eligibility Criteria

    The eligibility criteria for admission M.Ed special education is, candidates should have completed their B.Ed in special education or its equivalent degree which should be approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) with a total aggregate of 50% marks and should have two years of professional/ teaching experience. The minimum duration of completion of M.Ed special education is two years and the maximum is four years.
