ESM i.e. Ex- ServiceMan Quota is for persons who have served in any rank in Indian Armed forces, for a continuous period of not less than 6 months. Also, he must not have been dismissed of his duties or dismissal on account of misconduct.

Hence, it is NOT available to the children of any ESM but for himself only.
