For filling up of seats in VIT for various branches there are 5 categories. The first one is the merit list category where students get admitted based on their performance in VITEEE. Branches like CS get filled upto 5k rank and IT at around 10k. These category pays the lowest fees as compared to other categories.
For the next 3 categories -2,3 and 4 , the tuition fees increases and reaches as high as 3.5 lacs per annum. The 5 th category is the management quota where in you have to pay 3 lacs (donation fees) at the time of admission to get a seat, if left.
