Dear Nisha,

Yes, You are eligible for NEET and AIIMS as you have to just pass the 10+2 with a recognized board as CBSE is a well-recognized board so whether you belong to private or government school it doesn't matter. Do start your preparation.

Good luck

Maam it is causing a mass confusion..also tbh i think you are taking private candidates as candidates from private cbse schools as you have talked about government and private schools..private candidates are those students who can prepare for their exams from their home itself but the dates and syllabus of exam is all same as the regular one..so in some portals amd sites i have noticed that its written "students from NIOS and private candidates arent eligible for neet"..so this is causing a mass confusion..actually i am also a student who is going to repeat this year as a private candidate and going to appear for neet...so i am in a great tension now..would have been greatful to you if anyone could have provided an answer to this...thank you
