First of all don't compare  your journey with anybody else's, you have your own path, aspirations to fulfill, and if you have decided to go for a career in BCA then try to study well for that, develop skill sets both in terms of domain specific and personal attributes, that's the only way to do well and thrive in life, and if you don't want to go for BCA then with your stream and combinations try to explore other options as per your areas of interest, you want to pursue something because you find it interesting is good enough reason, not because your friend or any body else is going after that, doing so your intrinsic motivation to sustain will never be the same, moreover interest is only one part of choosing a career, there is dedication, focus and perseverance that's involved as well when it comes to the success of any candidate, and each student is different, even if you decide to go through shift which will yield in year loss, don't make any decision in haste, think with clarity, and discuss it with your parents in case you need advice.
