NEET is the major medical entrance examination in India. NEET provides admission for the MBBS and BDS course (i.e., medical and dental) in all colleges other than AIIMS and JIPMER in India. There is special entrance examination for getting admission in AIIMS and JIPMER. For all other government, government-aided and orivate medical or dental seats you have to write NEET. The syllabus of NEET  comprises of Physics, Chemistry and  Biology. In the syllabus of AIIMS and JIPMER there is english and general knowledge along with the three subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The major portions in the syllabus of above mentioned three subjects is same as that of the textbooks provided by NCERT. In total there are 720 questions in the NEET examination of which 90 is from Biology, 45 from Physics and 45 from Chemistry. Al the questions are MCQs.  For cracking the NEET you have to study well and you have to start your preparation from now onwards and you can attempt the NEET along with your plus two board examination(i.e., you can attemptbboth of the examinations in the same year). The admission for AFMC (Armed Force Medical College) is based on the performance in the NEET. Solving previous year question papers is more benificial for easy cracking of your NEET.

So Javed, these are the major things about the NEET and medical entrance examinations in India.
