Greetings,
It happens with many students that they don't prepare for jee in class 11th and start preparing for it in class XII but it's totally fine , you can still make it to iit if you start preparing from now with all your heart, I personally have seen a friend of mine who got into iit just by preparing for it in class XII but yes you need to work real hard for it .
