Admission depends on the cutoff eligibility. Cutoff for different rounds is different for different college. It also varies as per stream also.
It might be possible if you apply through your reservation category rank. Cutoff list will be released prior to counselling process. Check and apply accordingly.
There are more chance for private college. so look for a good and top private college. Private college performs very well each year and they are enough capable to compete with IIT students. They provide high scope for students.
