JEE Mains correction window has been opened from March 11 and the registration for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category have also started. As per government rules, the candidates whose annual income is less that Rs. 8 lakh per annum are eligible for EWS quota.
As for your question, surely you should be able to get a better college under EWS quota as compared to general candidature.
