Admissions are based on a Holistic Review that evaluates Academic Scores (Class 10, 11 and 12), Personal Interaction, Personal Statement and Extracurricular/ Co-curricular / Sports achievements.
Admissions to B.Tech requires that students apply on our Admissions portal through the JEE (Mains) ranking or through the ACPC process of Government of Gujarat (50%-50%).
PLACEMENT CRITERIA
After graduation, Ahmedabad University’s students pursue higher education, join reputed companies, take up family businesses or become entrepreneurs. The University’s Career Development Centre helps prepare students for careers after their University education. It provides counseling on areas of interest, information on various industries and guidance to those seeking Graduate education. It also organizes aptitude tests and workshops that give students a better sense of their own predispositions and the kind of work they would enjoy doing.

SCHOLARSHIP
MERIT SCHOLARSHIP:
- Merit scholarships are given to students in order to recognize their achievements. These merit scholarships are given at the time of admission to first-year students under UG category. 100% tuition fee waiver is given to students for the first year.
- Merit Scholarships for students of the second year and beyond will be awarded to students based on their academic achievements in the preceding years.
- B. Tech students may note that students admitted through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) set up by the Government of Gujarat will be eligible for a full waiver of the tuition fees for all four years if awarded a scholarship. Similarly, students admitted through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) who receive a Merit Scholarship will be entitled to a full waiver of the tuition fees for all four years.
