With a score of 340 in the SC category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a score of 565 was required to secure a seat in the Government medical college, Tirunelveli under the state quota in SC category. A score of 600+ is required to secure a seat in All India quota. But scores and ranks vary each year with toughness of the exam and availability of seats.
