Hi aspirant,

There are several criterias to determine the local candidate of a person in neet. Going with those guidelines you can be a local candidate from either of the two States if you satisfy one of these criteria:

  • The candidates or their parent must have reside in that state for at least 10 years.
  • The candidate has completed his secondary and higher secondary education from the same state.
  • Either of the parents of the candidate has to be an employee of the State or Central Government or a part of private sector recognised by the government.

Hope it helps!!
