I can't get you.Please give us full information about which exam you are asking.
If it is other entrance exam then you have to apply for it because through jee mains you can get admission in NITs/IIITs/BIT MESRA and many other private colleges and after crossing the cutoff of jee mains you are eligible to appear for jee advanced.
