I'm expecting 550 marks in NEET 2019.Can I get a government college in Mumbai under general category.

Yes if you belong to general category you can easily get admission in government colleges under state Quota some of your options are,

  • Grant Medical College, Mumbai
  • Rajeev Gandhi Medical College Thane
  • HBT Medical College and Dr RN Cooper Municipal Medical College and General Hospital, Mumbai
  • Gondia Government Medical College

However you can also get a government college under All India Quota some of those colleges are,

  • Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandrapur
  • Dr Vaishampayam Memorial Medical College, Solapur
  • Dr S.C. Government Medical College, Nanded
  • MG Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram Wardha

However you might not get a government college in Mumbai as their cutoffs are high.
