Im sc student i have 500 score in neet 2022 can i get a seat in coimbatore medical college or chennai medical colleges?

Hi there,

It might be difficult for you to get admission into these colleges even through 85% state quota. Although cutoff keeps changing every year depending on a number of factors like difficulty level of the paper, number of students appeared etc but going by previous year's data the cutoff marks of 85% state quota for SC category has been-

  1. Coimbatore Medical College- 536 marks
  2. Madras Medical College (Chennai medical college)- 592 marks

Please note that this marks will increase even more if you opt for 15% all india quota (AIQ).
