With a cut off of 176.5 marks, what are the colleges i may get seat in Tamil nadu for computer science related courses? my first preference would be coimbatore region.

sadafreen356 24th Apr, 2025

With a cutoff of 176.5 in Tamil Nadu, you have a good chance of getting into a computer science related program at a Coimbatore-based college. Some potential options include Karpagam College of Engineering and Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, according to KalviMarg.com.

Colleges in Coimbatore and Nearby Regions:

Karpagam College of Engineering:

This college is known for its engineering programs, including computer science, and has a good reputation in the Coimbatore region.

Velammal College of Engineering and Technology:

Located in Madurai, Velammal is another potential option, especially if you're willing to consider a slight distance from Coimbatore.

Sri Eshwar College of Engineering:

While primarily known for electrical and electronics engineering, they also offer computer science related programs.

Other Potential Options:

You can also explore other colleges like JCT College of Engineering & Technology, Karunya Institute of Technology & Sciences, and Sri Krishna College of Technology, which offer computer science programs in or around Coimbatore.

Important Considerations:

TNEA Cutoff:

Keep an eye on the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) cutoff ranks for specific courses and colleges, as they can fluctuate.

Rank:

Your rank within your category (e.g., General, BC) will also play a role in determining your admission chances.

College Preferences:

Fill out your college preference list with the colleges mentioned above, along with other potential options, in your TNEA application.

Im thinking of taking a drop after my 12th boards to prepare well for NEET, and give the exam next year. Will it be necessary for me to take admission somewhere else during the break/drop to be able to appear for NEET 2025 or be admitted in medical colleges after NEET?

mjaisinghani62 19th Mar, 2024

Hello aspirant

If you wish to drop this year and appear for neet nexg year then you must not take admission anywhere else . If you take admission to Any medical college for any medical Course , yuj willl have to pay the tution fees anc hostel charges for fill year. You will have to attend the lectures too. Also you will not be able to get time to prepare for neet  If you leave the  college after one year all your fees for one month will get wasted.  So it will be better that if you are taking drop stay at home and continue  for  preparing neet.

You may go for neet knock out pages of career360 , to prepare for neet .

Question : Directions: Select the set in which the numbers are related in the same way as the numbers of the given sets. (NOTE: Operations should be performed on the whole numbers, without breaking down the numbers into their constituent digits. E.g. 13 – operations on 13 such as adding /subtracting /multiplying etc. to 13 can be performed. Breaking down 13 into 1 and 3 and then performing mathematical operations on 1 and 3 is not allowed.)
(9, 7,189)
(4, 13, 156)

Option 1: (5, 9, 160)

Option 2: (6, 9, 162)

Option 3: (8, 5,125)

Option 4: (7, 8, 188)

Team Careers360 25th Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: (6, 9, 162)

Solution : Given:
(9, 7,189); (4,13,156)

The product of the first and second numbers is multiplied by 3, to get the third number –
⇒ (9, 7,189)→(9 × 7) × 3 = 189
⇒ (4, 13,156)→(4 × 13) × 3 = 156

Let's check each option –
First option: (5, 9,160)→(5 × 9) × 3 = 135 ≠ 160
Second option: (6, 9,162)→(6 × 9) × 3 = 162
Third option: (8, 5,125)→(8 × 5) × 3 = 120 ≠ 125
Fourth option: (7, 8,188)→(7 × 8) × 3 = 168 ≠ 188

So, only the second option follows the same pattern as the given number pair. Hence, the second option is correct.
