Hello Dear ,

Chemical engineering is a bit harder tha any other courses , the student has to spend an average of 19 hours and 40 minutes a week preparing for class  it involves a lot of physics and maths and is likely to involve a high number of exams at degree level. .  Well, the society generally has a belief that chemical  engineering does not suit for girls because there is no much scope for girls .

But if you have a passion and yo want to built your career you can choose . In many jobs even girls are given more preference than male candidates.

Hope this helps !!

hi,

see no course is easy if you donot study sincerely. let it be any science or engineering course or commerce related course or arts  course. however bachelor in chemical engineering is 4 years duration course. chemical engineering involves courses on thermodynamics, mechanics, thermal engineering, chemical reaction in power plant technology etc. chemical engineers generally works in oil sector, power plants, medicine manufacturing sectors. however work is mostly related with field work. however if you are comfortable for it then you can do work in chemical engineering sectors. many of the girls are working in ongc, iocl like companies as an chemical engineer. also their is higher study option and research work available in foreign universities.

hope you may understand.

Hello Aspirant

Chemical Engineering:

Chemical Engineering is one of the highest paying engineering branches if pursued sincerely. Contradictory to what many believe about the working conditions of chemical engineers, the work environment is safe for them and most of the times there is minimal contact with chemicals.

  • This engineering course has seen highest percentage growth in admission of girls in recent years. The reason being lots of potential majors for masters and research e.g. M.S. in nanotech etc.
  • The demand for this course is all over the globe. Also, one can move to teaching, e.g. JEE coaching, job, which is most preferred by girls.

It does not depend that u are a girl or a boy (on gender),I depends on your interest that can make you achieve

Hope it helps

Thank you
