state government colleges: look for engineering colleges in Delhi or nearby states that may have lower cut offs

private engineering colleges: some private institutions like Amity University, Shiv Nadar University and VIT University may offer good opportunities for admission

lower NITS and GFTIS: while top NITS may be out of reach consider applying to lower ranked nines or government funded technical institutes gfti's. where the cut offs may be more accessible
