Yes you can do B.Tech after completing your polytechnic. After completing your Polytechnic you need to give Lateral entry exam and then you can get admissions on various colleges directly in the second year. Once admitted in the college you need not give the semester exams for 1st sem and 2nd sem. The 1st sem and 2nd sem exams are not considered for the lateral entry students. As any other regular student you need to give exams form 3nd semester.
