UGC NET is conducted at national level for lecturership which you can appear for, its eligibility criteria is passed master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University securing 55% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, there are also SET conducted at state level which you can opt for, this is essentially for the recruitment of assistant professor, there is no upper age limit regardinv any of the aforementioned exams.
