As per my knowledge,  the Vaishya caste is the sub-cate which was under OBC category but not few of them falls under obc as well as general category.  So,  I request you to kindly check your caste / Category from the category list of the state. Apart from that let me tell you a bit about the cut - off criteria of this year for getting seat in any of the Govt.  Medical College  you must score at least 50 percentile (720 -136) for open category and 40 percentile ( 137 - 108 ) for OBC/SC/ST category.

The Constitution does not define Other Backward Classes. Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Muslims, Christians can all be made part of the OBC list.  If you are Christian then you would be considered as OBC during the neet councelling.
