My friends daughter scored 86.5%, She is OBC but enrolled herself under GE. Did she have any possibility appear for counselling?

Hello Sir,
According to JOSAA, there are two conditions for one to declare himself/herself belonging to a certain category. Firstly, he/she should have a valid caste certificate and secondly, the person should have used that caste certificate while enrolling for JEE Mains i.e. in the JEE MAINS Admit card in the category division it should be written OBC and not General.
In case she wanted to change the category, that should have been done before appearing for the exam. Once the results are out, there is no possibility of changing your category through fair means.
