75% or top 20 percentile criteria is considered as the criteria to get admission in NITs and IITs. As you have got 89% you are eligible for the admission in NIT and IIT.
You can appear 6 times in 3 consecutive years for JEE Main and 2 times in 2 consecutive years for JEE Advanced. As you have passed 12th in 2020 you can appear in JEE Main and Advanced in 2021 and only JEE Main in 2022. You have last chance to sit for JEE Advanced in 2021.
Hope you get my point. All the best.
Hey!
This year the criteria of minimum 75% aggregatesin 12th was relaxed due tothe pandemic, but there are no such chances in the coming years. You already have 89% that is enough for you to clear the 75% criteria. And, kindly note that If you wish to take admission through jee mains or advanced in any colleges or NITs IIts then only the scores of that year(in which year you take admission) are considered. So if you clear jee mains this year and wants to take admission in next year, thats not going to happen , you need to qualify jee mains next year also then. for more information, visit here:
