NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
The cut off each year fluctuates due to various reasons, still if we take previous year's cut off as the basis of comparison then you don't have a chance to get a government medical College in Tamil Nadu with state quota since the cut off for all the colleges of Tamil Nadu for general category student was above 590 and your score is way too low to secure a government medical seat in Tamil Nadu.
With a score of 479 in the general category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 573 was required to fetch one a seat in the Rajah Muthaiah medical college, Annamalai nagar in General category under the state quota. Also, One thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. However you can go through the following link to know about the cut off's and ranks for the previous years and calculate your chances of selection
