There is no number of limit to appear for IIT JAM and there is no upper age limit. You can appear for IIT Jam any number of times on passing in the qualifying examination. You must have passed Bachelor's Degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or 5.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale if you belong to general/OBC category. If you belong to SC/ST/PWD category you must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks or 5.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale. The education eligibility criteria is course specific which you need to fulfill.
