Actuarial Science is mostly related to Finance, insurance and Risk Management. As you are in intermediate, you can go for BSc Actuarial Science. Actuarial science has complex mathematical calculations, probability statistical methods, Actuarial Accounting and Economics, Sampling. The eligibility criteria is diffierent in different colleges. But in general, the candidate must has passed class 12 or equivalent with at least Mathematics and Statistics. Actuarial Science is one of the branches chosen by many students nowadays. Actuarial science graduates can work in banks, insurance companies, and many companies such as PwC, Ernst and Young, Deloitte etc also recruit Actuarial Science graduates under various job roles such as Risk Manager, Financial Analyst, Cost Estimator etc. There are higher studies options also. On completion on BSc Actuarial Science studies, you can go for MSc In Actuarial Science. You can also go for Master's in Business Administration or PG Diploma in related field. Actuarial science in India is growing rapidly and the recruitment areas are broad. Actuarial science graduates can expect around 2 lpa as a fresher. Once you gain experience in this field, you can expect more.
