SCB channel (state and central board channel) is commonly taking admission through boards who passed 10+2 level with science stream (fresher or 1 year dropper) by checking performance in IAT (IISER aptitude test).
The cut-off given on sites are basically 12th boards cut-off to appear in IAT exams.
After taking IAT they generate a list (round by round) of selected students with the 40% 12th board aggregate and 60% of IAT Score.
Note: IISER never disclose the cut-off of IAT exam. As a result, it only disclose Roll. No. of selected candidates at their official site.
If you have any other doubt please ask.
