Only non-government colleges can accept admissions into their colleges through jee mains i.e. b-category. Government colleges like JNTU ,Osmania university accept admissions only through ts-eamcet counselling.So to get a seat in top colleges through jee mains you will have to personally apply to the college for the seat after the respective college release the b-category notification.I suggest you to prefer ts eamcet counselling as that process is easy and you can get seat in good branch if you scored good in ts eamcet.If you opt for b-category, the maximum rank that the colleges accept for a good branch is between 50000-60000.
