Yes, you need to pay the counselling fee for CSAB counselling.

The counselling fee is different depending on whether the candidate has got seat allocated in JoSSA, whether or not accepted the seat, or reported or not. Since your daughter has not been alloted any seat, here is the fee for CSAB counselling:

SC/ST - 16,500

Since you belong to general category, your counselling fee would be INR 36,500.

There are different kind of categories to pay counselling fee.
1. All fresh candidates including the candidates after JoSAA 2020 who did not pay the seat acceptance fees has to pay INR 36,500 if you are general category.
2. Candidate who is participating in CSAB Special Round after JoSAA seat allotment and also retaining the JoSAA seat has to pay INR 36,500.
Etc. So as you were not allotted any seat in JoSAA counselling, you'll have to pay INR 36,500 for CSAB Special round of counselling as you belong to general EWS category. The CSAB registration fee is Rs. 21000. The registration fee has to be paid online via the SBI portal. This also includes a processing fee of Rs. 1500. Procedure for registration:

• Visit the official website for CSAB 2020: csab.nic.in
• Click on the link for CSAB Counselling registration.
• The candidates can register on the website using their JEE application form number and password.
• Once they have registered, they can fill in the details and upload the documents required (Academic records (10th and 12th marks sheet), Category Certificate, PwD Certificate (If applicable) )
