NEHU stands for North Eastern Hill University. It was established in 1973 and was awarded  ‘A’ grade accreditation from NAAC. NEHU Shillong offers UG courses are BA, B.Sc., BA LLB, B.Tech, B.Ed. and B.Arch. PG courses include MA, M.Sc., M.Com, M.Ed., M.Tech, MBA, MTTM, MLISc., MCA, MJMC, MSW, PGPD-SEDE.  Admission in NEHU for various courses given on merit list of various State/ National level entrance examinations like MAT, JEE Mains, GATE etc. and also on the University conducted entrance exam.
