As per your rank you do have chances for getting one if the NITs/IIIts.
But definitely you won't be able to get any if these in South India .
Also, it's not possible for you to get Admission   in the top/best NITs/IIIts as your tank doesn't match as per the requirements.
However you will get a decent college.
Also I'll suggest you to try for your home state NIT.
Also, try for GFTIS.
