Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and surgery (BAMS) is an integrated degree in the medical field.These degre program is conferred to those students who studied the modern medicine and traditional Ayurveda.

BAMS is a graduate degree course in Ayurvedic system.The degree is awarded after the completion of 5 years 6 months degree programme that include one year internship programme with live practical.

The basic requirements for the eligibility to get the admission to BAMS programme is qualifying 12th exam with science stream as biology being one of the subject.The candidate should have to go through national level entrance exams NEET.

Day by day , the scope of Ayurvedic is overlapping to the other medical system not only in india but also in the world.In many caes the people have taken the experience for tje trustfulness of the Ayurvedic system and medicine treating for the chronic amd non- healable diseases.

Job opportunities also exits in government sector.one can get job in government Ayurveda hospital as Ayurvedic pharmacist.Teaching field is also open for Ayurvedic graduates.
