I hope you are doing well, well you can apply for an entrance in Karnataka but you will be considered a non local student since you only did your PUC in Karnataka. I assume you aren't born in Karnataka. Your mother might be from Karnataka but for admission the emphasis will be on you and not much on your parents as you will be the 1 studying.
