Hello Student!!

Hope you are doing great. If you wish to take admission in Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery - MBBS from a government college you need to appear for National Entrance Eligibility Test - NEET. Based on the cutoff of previous NEET any student belonging from Unreserved/General category who scores more than 560 should consider himself in the race of admission in government colleges in Karnataka.

Hope it helps!!!!

Hi dear,

Cut-offs varies from year to year and that's why it is difficult to predict. Cutoffs depends on many factors like number of seats available, caste category, number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, etc.

Based on previous year's cut-offs to get Government seat in Private MBBS Colleges in Karnataka for General Category candidates, safe score around 450+ is needed.

For admission into Government seat in Government MBBS Colleges in Karnataka, a safe score of 560+ is needed. But, this year cutoffs may increase, decrease or remain same.

You can get Management quota seats as well in Private MBBS Colleges and Government MBBS Colleges with a score less than score of A Category seats.

To check previous year's cut-offs of NEET UG in Karnataka MBBS and Dental Colleges go through below mentioned link. https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka/amp

May this information was helpful.

Good Luck!!
