Hello,

Yes you can appear for JEE exams.But do keep in mind that diploma candidates are not eligible for get admission in NITS and other colleges that offer admission through jee mains score. Diploma candidate can only get admission in IITs so if you can crack jee mains and then appear in JEE advance and if you will get a good rank then you will get admission in IITs.
