Hey there you can apply and get admission in msc microbiology as backlog do no harm to admissions the major issue will be if can not clear it till your last semester which is 6th sem. so clear the backlog till last semester to get admissions. This os not valid for applying jobs as mostly they want to have no active backlogs.
