I have caste certificate which is only valid in gujarat . So should i fill JEE form under reservation category or open category?

You have to show the caste certificate which is Centrally accepted to get admission in NITs/IITs/IIITs and CFTIs.
You will get reserved quota in your state.

How do i be sure that the certificate is centrally accepted? My certificate is valid only in gujarat state

Your caste Certification shall be valid only in Gujarat or your respective home state.
If you have valid Gazetted Certification for OBC or SC or ST category or also PWD category as per described format by JEE authorities, only then you shall be qualified under reservation category. make sure you have valid , verified and authentic Certification of your category, any such discrepancies may rule you out of Admission counseling process where you need to submit all documents.
If you're not confident enough, it is advisable to register yourself under General / Open category on safer side.
Although cutoff may be comparitvly higher, but risk factor shall be least.
Shall you have more doubts feel free to ask.

Thank you very much..... How can i be sure? I have caste certificate of SC.. but it is not valid in mumbai. Please help
You can coordintae with Suitable advocate or You can even contact JEE authorities to verify your cast certificate.
Zubin sir.... Can u tell me how do i contact jee authorities for my certificate confirmation..?
