As per the reports and news articles,the Board of Governors in supersession of MCI has denied permission to Chintpurni Medical College (CMC), Pathankot, to conduct admissions on 150 MBBS seats for the academic year 2019-20. The CMC was also denied MBBS and BSc admissions in the year 2017-18 and 2018-19 too. In its order, the Board of Governors conveyed to the director of the college that there was a complete failure on their part in creating proper infrastructure in accordance with MCI regulations and there was a lack of facilities needed as per curriculum of medical courses.
