See ARMY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (AIT) is one of the prestigious colleges of India.
It has been ranked around 90 last year by NiRf.The condition rquired to get into it is that your parents must be in army or ex armymen or widowed during war.
To get into it there are 4 branches
Computer Engineering around 50,000
Electronics Engineering around 90,000
Information Technology around 65,000
and Mechanical engineering around 1,15,000
Seeing your rank you have a very decent chance of getting Mechanical if nothing else.
