There is great variation among closing rank to Join MNIT for different Branches and as well as on Your Home state or another state quota.
If You score a rank under 3500 You will be able to take any Branch at MNIT and independent of Your state quota.
Then as the rank decreases there are fewer chances to getdesired Course,
