Placements were my biggest disappointment as a Mechanical Engineering student. The institute has a strong overall reputation, but the opportunities available to mechanical students were not as impressive as those in some other branches. Core companies were limited, and many students had to consider roles outside their preferred field. I would recommend having a backup plan and looking for internships independently.
