There is no need to go to Maharashtra and give MHT CET law exam you can choose a centre that is near to your home. You will be asked to select an exam centre where you would like to give exam while filling the application form in that you can choose a centre that is near your home. The State CET Cell, Maharashtra provides exam centres across the country but most of the test centres will be provided in various cities in Maharashtra. It's up to you which centre you choose. On your admit card in that which ever centre is mentioned you will have to go to that centre and  give the exam. If you do not select Maharashtra you will not get centre in Maharashtra.
