Going by previous year closing ranks, either under Open or SEBC categories of Gujarat, your prospects of securing an MBBS seat doesn't seem very bright with a score of 246 and said ranks, However you do stand a good chance of getting a BDS seat with these ranks and score, as per previous year closing ranks, even on government quota seats, not just Management Quota seats  in private colleges.

Also note that given changes in seat matrix, number of aspirants, competition, paper difficulty level, etc. the cutoff predictions varies every year. So, you should go ahead and try your chances in both MBBS and BDS courses.
