I would like to inform you that Army Institute of Technology is a good college by far keeping in mind the infrastructure and the faculties but the recent placement scenario of the college is not good which means you should join any good private university for your undergraduate course.

Army institute is also one of the best choice to complete the further studies.
It is not the alternate option that you have not got seat in NIT or or other private colleges.Instead you can join in any university even.You will have better studies wherever you choose to study.
