Though your total was better with physical education. You cannot replace physics, chemistry, mathematics with physical education. These three subjects are highly important for engineering. They will ask for your marks in a specified way like mathematics marks, physics marks, chemistry marks. So you cannot swap the marks either cutoff wise or your total.
