Based on previous year opening and closing ranks of IIITs, all the IIITs have their closing rank for all the courses below 10000. So there is very less chance for getting IIITs. However, you can try other CFTIs which accept JEE Main marks and apply for counselling.

With the provided information about your rank and reservation, it could be said that you could get admssion in some of the newly formed IIITs. This speculation is based on the fact that you belong to SC category and have written the JEE as an SC candidate. Also do apply for CSAB Special round counselling. With a rank of 14,840 in the SC category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the IIIT's when comparing the results of previous years. But, it all depends on your home state, which you haven't mentioned here. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats and state quotas. Hey Sunny, hope you are doing well. According to previous year's trends and cutoffs at this category rank and common rank list, it is somewhat difficult to get into IIITS. Nevertheless please wait for cutoffs to be out. You can get North eastern IIITS if you belong to home state category otherwise not. Hope it helps!! Good luck!!
