Hey,
Masters of Science in Chemistry is a two year programme that is offered to students who have completed their graduation in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects with  a minimum aggregrate of 50 per cent. Often candidates are required to qualify Institutes, state or National level entrance exam for admission to M.Sc Course.
Admission process various varies for different colleges. Some give admission on the basis of your performance in the entrance test or simply on the basis of your marks in the last qualifying exam.
So,it depends on the College you want to apply in.
Some colleges do consider the marks obtained in IIT JAM while some conduct their own entrance test.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
