a character certificate is valid only for 6 months , this is the reason why it is asked to be renewed for Delhi University colleges in order to take admission for students who have dropped for gap year.

the school from which you did your 12th is supposed to renew your character certificate it is not possible for you to get your character certificate from any other school for by any other facility .

You must request your school and tell them the need for the reason for the same.
