Hi Tanzeel,
University of Delhi will release the first DU 2019 mass communication cutoff for the colleges offering bachelors degree in journalism in June 2019. So you will have to wait for a few days and then just check their official website for the cutoff marks. However the cutoff last year for journalism and mass communication was ranging around 92 to 95.

Good Luck

Hello Aspirant

You will get admission in Delhi University as there are plenty of colleges that fall under Delhi University Affiliation.  You have a decent percentage and you can get admission in north campus colleges as well.

The cut off lists for the courses available in Delhi University has not come out yet. We can provide you with a rough estimate of the cut-offs.

BA Journalism falls under the Department of Media and Journalism (Humanities and Social Sciences). Delhi University is particularly famous for its humanities and social sciences courses and thus a huge number of applications are submitted everywhere. Most of the colleges within the university follow the merit of a student (based on the cut-off lists).

To make the understanding of the cut off easy, I have divided the colleges among 3 categories.

TIER 1 Colleges

·         Lady Shree Ram College

·         Gargi College

·         Jesus and Marys College

·         IP College for Women

Approximate Cut off Percentage: 96–97%

TIER 2 Colleges

·         Kamla Nehru College

·         Keshav Mahavidyalaya

·         Daulat Ram College

·         Zakir Hussain College

Approximate Cut off Percentage: 94–95%

TIER 3 Colleges

·         Vivekananda College

·         Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College

·         BR Ambedkar

·         Mata Sundari

·         Aryabhatta College

Approximate Cut off Percentage: 91–93%

As you can see, the percentage required is quite high for the University of Delhi.

Delhi University does provide a lot of different quotas and these quotas can be accessed through the official website of Delhi University.

Few Other colleges could be :

·         Ashoka University, Sonipat

·         Ambedkar University, New Delhi

·         Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi

·         Christ University, Bangalore

·         Sophia College for Women

·         Jai Hind College

I hope that my answer was helpful.

Best of luck and keep yourself updated with the Delhi University official website.
